SuDS game

See what flood resilience looks like in our interactive game!

Hull is the second biggest flood risk area in the UK. With climate change resulting in more intense weather conditions, we need to proactively work together to protect our homes from flooding.

Our interactive sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) game puts real planning decisions in your hands. Choose a local street and then select from a range of sustainable drainage features to design your own scheme.

It’s a great way to explore opportunities to manage water effectively where you live and understand why it matters for neighbourhoods like yours.

Co-creation and working together with our communities means you become part of our design team for a more resilient future.

This experience will enable us to gather insights on what you want to see, which will help us develop and refine our plans for SuDS projects across the area.

How to play

  • Pick a local street scene – choose from Derringham, Drypool, Orchard Park, Rosmead Street or Bilton.
  • Select from a range of sustainable drainage systems(SuDS)
  • Design your own flood resilience schemes – which will help you, your family and your neighbours to be more resilient to flooding in the future!
