Cities of the Future

Living with Water was proud to have featured in the Net Zero festival in London.

Partners Hull City Council created with ITN Business a film highlighting the work going on in our region around climate adaptation.

Being prepared for flooding and mitigating that risk is paramount to the future of Hull. Our partnership is not only working toward this with sustainable surface water schemes, but are raising awareness, from education in schools, research and testing with academic partners University of Hull through to community engagement and involvement from design to delivery.

Showcasing to the rest of the UK the work we are doing now and long term, not only shows our commitment to driving climate change solutions within the city through a sustainable development approach, but it also has the potential to set an example for other urban areas, on how to make a positive environmental impact too.
