The Living with Water Partnership has been shortlisted for a prestigious BQF Award to be announced later this week in a glamorous ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

In 2019, BQF refreshed the categories and added An Excellence In Collaboration. This new award acknowledges the role that working in collaboration plays in organisations’ successes. The Living with Water team is a collaborative approach to tackling flooding in Hull and East Riding and is shortlisted along with distinguishing businesses such as Dubai Police, Sun Chemicals and Ricoh.

Lee Pitcher General Manager for Living with Water says:

“I already feel so privileged to be involved in the pioneering Living with Water partnership but to gain external recognition of just how ‘excellent’ and special this collaboration is - it’s quite simply awesome. Fingers crossed for the whole team.”

With government and industry backing, the UK Quality Award (now the UK Excellence Award) was established in 1993. The Award is promoted and managed by a new, independent, not-for-profit body called The British Quality Foundation (BQF), and with HRH The Princess Royal as its patron, to receive an award would be an achievement of excellence.

As the Living with Water programme goes from strength to strength this recognition from such an industry exemplar, is a real boost. Awards announced Thursday 16th May 2019.
